This post will just be a “Get to know me” Q&A, but before I do that, I want to give a small update on me and a few things I’ve been thinking on for Bria a la mode!  

So I’ve been holding back from posting for a while. I haven’t been in my most fashionable moods lately and my life hasn’t been too interesting either. So I chose to just sit back and focus on school and myself. 

Firstly, I’m excited to announce that I got accepted to my study abroad program for this summer. Yayyyyyyyyyy! I’ve been waiting on this since like... um FOREVER! I’ve never been out of the country before so I think this will open my eyes to a lot of new things and just give me the traveling experience I’ve been longing for. I’ll be going to Amsterdam, Edinburgh, and London. I’m so hype.. lol. 

Next, I have been thinking about either creating and linking a YouTube to my blog and posting videos here and there OR just simply making a channel and only doing YouTube (quit blogging). I’m not sure the route I want to go just yet but I know I want to create a channel just so I can put myself, my style, and personality out there more. Sis is trying to get into this fashion industry and KILL it, okkkkk? 💅🏽 

I’m in the process of looking at cameras and things, so just stay tuned. It may not happen right away, but ya girl is coming.

1. Are you named after anyone?

My Grandma actually named me after a girl she met on a train going to Milwaukee. So I guess? 

2. When was the last time you cried?

I honestly don’t remember for me to be a big crybaby. lol 

3. Do you have kids?

0000!! 

4. If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself?

Hell yes! 

5. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

Queen of sarcasm.

6. What’s the first thing you notice about people?

I always go for people’s clothes. That should’ve been a given. 

7. What is your eye color?

Brown! 

8. Scary movie or happy endings?

Can I have both? Liiiiiike... 

9. Favorite smells?

Candles that smell like men’s cologne. Bèby!! (Blog post on them coming soon)

10. What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home?

New York. So Google says 15 hrs and 56 min. 

11. Are you Single or Taken?

I am so so single.

Tupelo, MS.

13. What are your hobbies?

Shopping. Sleeping. Blogging. 😬

14. Do you have any pets?

No, but I want a Maltipoo sooooo bad. Omg! 

15. Do you have any siblings?

I have 6 siblings. 

Diajah, LaDarious, Ishmael, Vivecka, Amber, Allania (we’re 3months apart😄).

16. What do you want to be when you grow up?

I honestly just want to be my own boss. I want my own business(es) in the fashion industry.

A girl named Kaylen in Kindergarten.

19. Funniest moment throughout School?

Ok, so it wasn’t funny then but in junior high, 90% of the black girl population didn’t like me (I still don’t know the reason lmfao) and one day I got to school and they all wanted to jump my ass. Lol I was taken back because I literally didn’t do anything (or what they claim I did🤣). It’s funny now but they was finna dig in my ass all at once and nobody was on my side atallll and I was crying down. 😂 ps. I was a softie back then. Times have changed! 🤪🙃

Zero!

21. What was your favorite/worst subject in High School?

Favorite: English 

Worst: between math and science. I haaaaaate them!! 

22. What is your Favorite drink? Animal? Perfume?

Drink: V8 Fruit Medley

Lol. I tried.. TRIED basketball in junior high.

I’ve had 2 boyfriends in my 22 years. 

27. Favorite memory from childhood?

I actually have a lot. But my most memorable one was when I had a Hawaiian themed birthday party. My mom and aunt went all out. It was bomb!

28. How would you describe your fashion sense?

Fly af... but on a budget fly af.

iPhone 7. 

30. Tell us one of your bad habits! 

Taking a small nap but it turns into a 6hr+ nap. Everyday. Seriously. 😭
